Cheesman v. Stine Seed
Mr. Cheesman and Stine Seed each operated separate and competing agricultural seed businesses.
Cheesman and Stine agreed to combine their efforts and form a new seed business. The firm, on behalf of Cheesman, later sued Stine Seed asserting a variety of claims which alleged Stine Seed had looted the new business of its value and transferred the value to Stine Seed and other entities controlled by Stine Seed. Stine Seed also sued Cheesman, claiming Cheesman had violated his agreement not to compete with Stine Seed. Case No. 92 CH 16 (Logan County 1992).
